With the ambition to create and shape a more responsible industry, we’ve have joined forces with leading partners such as SBTi, the Danish Technological Institute, FSC Denmark, OEKO-TEX®, the EU Ecolabel, Prduct and MÅLBAR. By testing our designs against the highest quality standards, expanding our processing knowledge, and measuring CO2eq emissions across our value chain, we identify concrete ways to reduce our overall impact.
We use only FSC™-certified wood, along with other controlled materials, meaning it comes from responsible and legal forestry that protects biodiversity in the forests it’s sourced from – covering all three pillars of sustainability: social, economic, and environmental.
Our commitment goes beyond our FSC™ certification. As proud members of FSC Denmark, we support the organisation behind the world’s leading certification for responsible forestry – contributing to the global dialogue on how forests are protected and managed.
All our designs containing MDF and plywood are tested to comply with TSCA Title VI (Toxic Substance Control Act), which ensures that the wood does not emit formaldehyde above permitted trace amounts.
You can’t manage risks you don’t see – that’s why we strive for full transparency in our supply chain, knowing where our products and materials are made and under what conditions. Through our partnership with Danish platform Prduct.com, we collect and share supply chain data to reduce risk and ensure responsible practices. When we know the full story behind our products, we can minimise negative impact, act early on potential risks, and make better design decisions.
All our fabrics, rugs, and the entire Soft Collection are OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified - tested by independent institutes for both regulated and non-regulated substances that may be harmful to human health. The criteria are updated annually based on the latest scientific knowledge.
We’re members of the Care & Fair organisation - an initiative founded in 1994 to support local weavers, particularly in India and Nepal, by promoting fair working conditions, education, and healthcare for the weavers and their families. All our rugs are handcrafted, carry the Care & Fair label, and reflect the finest handmade quality.
